I guess from the reviews I was expecting "more"...more depth of characters...more pages....more of a story. Unfortunately I would not recommend this book to anyone. I'm even more disappointed I chose to borrow this through Prime b/c now I have to wait a few more weeks to borrow again.
I picked it up because this happened in my hometown. It was just a short story, a few scenes only, about a cop who reacted the way we all would. Short stories aren't really my thing, as they don't have time for any mystery or character development. It was a nice little 15 minute read if that is what you are looking for.
WOW. The fact that this actually happened makes this scary. This was a good story. I plan to read more of this author's work.
I bought this last week and read it yesterday in one sitting. It's a true a story and a very enjoyable read. I just bought another of CR Myers books based on how much I liked this one and I am looking forward to reading that one too.
